Douglas is a retired pastor who loves to spend time in his wood shop creating things from scrap lumber. Even more than his woodwork he loves to write and teach about Jesus. The scrap lumber that he works with reminds him of how much God has done in his life.
The name of his ministry comes from the fact that the pavement comes to an end just past his driveway. This makes for a simple life watching cows and tractors.
